I just received the Blackfire Pressure Sprayer with Double Barrel Extension:

If works fine without the double barrel extension. However, with the extension, as soon as you start pumping it with the extension it immediately starts spraying, regardless if you hold down the "spray lever" or not.

Spray lever:

So, I tried to figure why the original sprayer will seal while pumping, but the extension won't. I found it "seals" by a point sealing against the gasket of the spray tip (or entrance into extension)

Point is white:

Gasket is orange:

However, barrel extension has no gasket, so it does not seal while pumping up (regardless of lever position)

Both spray ends:

Is this "just how it is"; or is my gasket missing? TIA

I don't have this sprayer, but could it be that it only comes with a sing seal, and the orange gasket is simply stuck on the short tip?

I have a pair of Venus Pro. Sometimes the rubber gasket would stick to the head, and sometimes stuck in the tip when I remove them for cleaning.

Hey swanicy,

I just got the Autogeek version of this sprayer on Tuesday, with the double barrel extension as well. I noticed that on the bottom inside my shipping box was an orange seal similar to the one in the pic you posted. I had no idea what is was for as it was just loosely sitting on the bottom of my box. Thanks to your thread however, I realize that it must be for the double barrel extension.

If you still have you shipping box, look inside it. Like I said, mine was just loosely sitting on the bottom.

I haven't used mine yet, but the extra seal does fit in the end of the double barrel. So, I think you are missing yours.

It does sound like some confusion here. I think it's time to give a call to customer service and talk to a technician to clarify because something's off...

Well I tore everything apart no gasket. The good news is just using it without the extension is awesome, it really helps lay down an even later of waterless wash. It sprays a very long time on just a couple pumps. I'm very happy with it, just did a waterless wash.

I'll have to give them a call.

THese are junk IME. Get a quality garden sprayer and ask AG for a credit. That is what I did. Amazon has some very nice garden sprayers.

What don't you like about it? So far its working really well. I like how it puts down an even layer of waterless wash. Are you saying it doesn't last?

By the way, already got the UPS confirmation. New barrel extender is on the way. Thanks AG.

Hey fenderpicks, how you doing.

I got the set (1 & 2 liter) from US Plastics. Just check on their site, and for some reason Kwazar is not listed anymore...

Well, that was fast. AG strikes again. :props:

Yeah, it's more fun doing rinseless with a pump sprayer. Excellent coverage and saves product, too.

I just ended up getting the $5 credit for the double barrel extension. Once I used the sprayer, I realized the extension was unnecessary and useless for what I wanted to use it for (waterless wash). But I'm pretty happy with this thing. I can't believe how much it sprays on a couple of pumps. It's a lot faster and more fun than using a spray bottle. But, I used just as much product - I think I flushed the panel more.

It's a pretty good buy for $15. Durability remains to be seen. But it is "chemical resistant", so a waterless wash shouldn't mess it up.

Does these pressure sprayers provide a very fine mist pattern?

You can adjust it easily by twisting the nozzle. It goes from stream to fine. By fine, I don't mean "atomized" though.
