Here is a car I did a few years back before I had all the equipment. I did all the seats,carpets and floor matts by hand with Folex. I wanted to show what you can do with out all the expensive equipment.

When you say by hand... you mean just a scrub brush? or what?

Nice to see interior detail threads becoming popular. Great job doing all of this by hand. Folex is great stuff.

Yes just a scrub brush and Folex. This car was done before I got my Dupray.

Nope just a Dupray steamer really don't need anything else. I have tried one before and it worked good. I just like my steamer better.

Fair enough! Right now I am looking at either an extractor or a steamer. There are pros and cons to both, just not sure which one as they both have different strong points.

I have both and I use my steamer mostly cause when I do interior I don't have to wait for stuff to dry.

I would probably say an extractor first and maybe a cheap steamer if you dont have much to start with. Their a pretty well rated steamer model on amazon.
