Im a newbie to detailing, from Southern IL, figured I try out autogeek to get help from people that know what they are doing. I have a dark blue metallic gmc sierra, can anyone give me some advice for paint correction i thought about washing using dawn soap, ironx, autoscrub, m105/m205 and finsihing with PO85RD (if any one has better paint correction products let me know) want a mirror finish. Lastly I will use 22ple on paint and cquartz dlux on tires, trim, and chrome. Also whats a good for tinted windows besides stoners? Are there any sealants that wont harm. Looking for semi long term protection.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Welcome to AGO! All your questions will be answered here. Looks like a good plan to me. For the glass, I used Aquapel a couple months ago. Water sheets off like crazy!

Welcome to Autogeek Online Cole!!

This is what I'd suggest if someone's looking for products that cover most aspects of detailing. Many of the products I've listed can be used on several areas and used as desired..

I'm assuming that you have a dual action polisher and foam pads?

The PO85rd is going to be over kill. I doubt you would be able to see a difference. Now m105 and m205 are a great combo and tried an true on this forum. There member on here that use 22ple on his dark grey or black metallic Lexus is250 or 350 it looks amazing. Dripping wet! Also for your windows, just make sure what ever you get is ammonia free. I don't have a go to window cleaner because no matter what I try I streak ahaha.

Finally welcome to Autogeek! You will learn tons from this website.

22PLE VX1 Pro - Lexus IS250 (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/57332-product-game-changer-22ple-vx1-pro-coating.html)

22ple is great stuff, and I agree, PO85RD may be overkill. I've only found that I needed to use it on soft black paint - it won't hurt if you use it, but it just may not be worth the time. Overall sounds like a great plan to me! Good luck! TAKE BEFORE/DURING/AFTER PICS! We all love to see them!

Any tips for applying and removing the 22ple. Also whats a good wash for and QD or could i use something like reload?

I applied as directed, it was a very simple process. I worked with one panel at a time. Just set a stop watch after each panel and would wipe it off after 3 minutes or so. It wiped off extremely easily. Literally no pressure needed to remove it.

22ple Application Instructions:
-Ensure the surface is cleaned & polished.
-Remove all oil/polishes on the surface by doing an IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) wipe down. Use a mixture of 50% Isopropyl Alcohol with 50% distilled water.
-Please make sure the surfaces are cool and TOTALLY dry before applying the glass coat.
-Pour a small amount of glass coat liquid onto a foam applicator pad and apply in a straight line motion. Do not over-apply as it does not give you additional benefit, but it might make it difficult to remove.
-Make sure ALL surfaces are covered. You should then buff off the coating with a clean, lint-free microfiber towel within 3-5 minutes in normal room temperature. Should you encounter any dried coating, simply reapply another layer over it and buff. If an area becomes dry / tacky, then it's a sign that you allowed it to sit on the surface too long. We like to use 2 towels for removal. The first for main product removal, and then immediately go over it again with the second towel to ensure that you have completely removed all residue. As a good rule of thumb, apply 22ple to just 2 panels / sections at a time, and then proceed with residue removal. If you extend any more than this, the coating will dry too much and can become tacky.
-Cure time - Do not wash your car or expose the car to open weather element, rain, snow etc for around 8-12 hours.
-After this initial curing time, the car can be washed or driven per normal.
-The full curing time is about 5 days, at which time the full layer of the coat will be hardened and the surface will look its best.
-Do not reuse any applicator pads used to apply this coating. 22ple will dry and harden these applicator pads and if used again they could potentially mar the paint.

I used my typical 12-15% IPA mixture instead of their 50% suggestion.

Todd suggested that I apply it when temps are above 50 degrees for best results.

I applied 1 coat to the entire vehicle, then after 8 hours I applied a second coat to the horizontal panels to ensure total coverage. You do not benefit from an additional coat, but since I had so much left over, I figured I would do an additional coat (as recommended by the manufacturer) to ensure proper coverage.

Be sure you can keep the vehicle out of the elements for the recommended 8-12 hours afterwards.

As far as washing after the coating has cured... I use my typical CG Citrus Wash and Gloss (diluted for reg. washing of course), Mr. Pink in my foam gun when desired, or ONR. I follow all of my washes with a wipe down of CG V7 spray sealant.

Good Luck!
