Hey guys it's been a while since I last posted. I have my 7424xp and have been using Meguiars UP and UW. The shine is pretty good but I'm looking for a deeper look not the mirror look, what products can help me achieve this. The car is a 2012 TL black thanks in advanced guys.

You mite get a little micro marring but if you use a foam pad and finishing polish will take care of any micro marring. The new FG400 is great stuff my new favorite stuff.

I am very pleased with the warm glow that Pinnacle Signature Series II has provided on my black Tacoma. I really like Wolfgang Finishing Glaze for a finishing polish. If you want to stay with over the counter products you could try Meguiar's #26 wax. It will give you a carnuba glow.

I think I'll try Menzerna this time and the Wolfgang in the spring and see which one give me the look I want. Thanks guys

I have a 2010 TL (black) and I agree the paint is pretty soft. Here is a thread I started a while ago with similar questions to yours:

Fg400 is a great compound! I'd say its pretty dusty is its only downfall if you can even say that. I love it. If compounding is t necessary 2500 works well and follow either up with 4500 4500 leaves the best gloss (so far from what I have found) and the. Seal or wax! Take your time with 4500.... It's going to make everything look perfect!

You should have any dusting with FG400. I don't get dusting with it all really.

Hmm odd not sure what I was doing wrong then broke down well within 2 pass' total of 6-8 pass depending on the area... Microfiber to hand wipe the residue always turned up quite a bit of dust... Compaired to "advanced swirl remover pinnicale" or bftsr... Or whatever the black fire acronym is...

Are you using compressed air to clean pad after each section?

Hey guys thanks for all the help, I read about Menzerna products got a little chicken hearted and went with Wolfgang TSR and FG I think I'll work my way up to Menzerna products. But I have a question about my clear bra I can start to see swirls underneath it which is odd because I got it put on right after I brought the car. My question is its $125 to remove it and I'm really torn in half about it. Some good in site is really needed thanks guys.
