Anyone try spit shining with souveran paste yet? I polished out my hood yesterday after the dealer washed it with a f*cking brush and put in multiple scratches. The end result was very nice, although it was hard to tell if that method actually improved the souveran or not.

Man nice pictures...I got to take my Lexus in on Wednesday and I'm so anal about them washing it.

Sorry to hear about the scratches but the pictures look wicked.

I tried it after Neothin brought it to the forum a year ago, never noticed any appreciable difference nor added durability. So a quick coat of Souveran paste, and unkeep with Souveran Spray Wax works for me.

I tell the service writer "do not wash". He writes it on the ticket and I have a sign I put on the dash that says DO NOT WASH.

It's the first time I bring it in and I was thinking the same thing.

Thanks for the tip buddy.
