what product would be the best to use by hand to get swirl marks and fine scratches out with?

have read that Mike Phillips has produced Excellent results with ScratchX by hand.

ScratchX, as with any swirl remover, should be used to get the desired effect. I would think that this would be true any swirl remover. When using a PC I often make several passes if not multiple passes to get the look that I desire. I would beleive this to be true by hand also. That is if your arm is up to it.

ScratchX will work great since it is formulated specifically for hand use. Poorboy's and DP polishes will also work good.

I have a black vette that makes me crazy with the scratched. Scratch X works well by hand but looking for a machine product that is less work. Any suggestions?

Vette paint is pretty hard, so I'm going to recommend Poorboy's SSR2.5 with a polishing pad.

XMT360, and Poorboys Polish w/Sealant.
