Decided to make my own Dolly after seeing the prices online for one. Made it from scrap 3/4" plywood and 2x4s. The wheels are 2.5inch casters from home depot, 2 locking, 2 regular. Going to put a couple coats of plasti dip and call it done.

Haha, nice! :xyxthumbs:

I'd go a step further and spray it with a bed liner.

I made something similar but used diamond plate instead of wood. A bit more expensive than wood but still much cheaper than the ones for sale :)

Very creative. The two bucket dolley and connector is so valuable IMO. It doubles as a detailing seat and rolling cart. It triples as a ride for my son around the house - he sits on one bucket and I push the other one, lol.

Clever! I bought a dolly for ten bucks on sale at Harbor Freight a couple weeks ago. I was thinking of doing something like you did but I wanted a larger container for my wash solution so I bought a heavy duty ten gallon storage container at the dollar store for about seven dollars. I drilled a rail in the dolly to hold the container (this way I can slide it off easily) and used a bungee cord to secure the rinse bucket. I like my set up but I think for a normal two bucket dolly you have a great idea.
