Windshield-What happened?

I used Pinnacle water spot remover on my windshield. It looks great until you look at it at a certain angle with the sun shining down on it. I see tons (maybe 100) of tiny spots all over the windshield. They almost look like microscopic chips that you cannot feel. Visability is fine and windshield looks great in general. I only notice at certain angles with the sun shining on it. Not sure if they were there before the treatment. I did follow instructions and applied by hand. Any idea what this is and if it can be fixed. I do have a D/A if that would help.

probably, dirt and crud and junk was covering those microscopic rock hits....and when you gave them a good clean, it cleared that dirt to reveal those little chips more....if you were to apply the pinnacle sealant it would visually reduce these little issues briefly...there might be coating to hide them more for glass but I have no knowledge of those.!

You might need to clay the windshield also.
