So I stopped by my auto parts store today (where I work once a week to take advantage of my 20-30% discount), and saw they brought in a few goodies.

I saw this product from good ol Turtle Wax. Turtle Wax Rinse Free Wash & Wax. They "dare you to try it". Its a 33oz bottle for $7.99

For the average Joe that has no idea about Rinseless washes, this one will be interesting to justify. Im sure it performs descent. How will it compare to premium rinseless washes like Meguiar's D114 & Optimum's ONR / ONRWW? Who knows, I wont be getting it. I have enough Optimum.

I also saw the section where the new Griot's Garage products will go.

Pretty decent stuff, it gives me something to work with when recommending products to customers that come in. The new Meg's 2013 products are also in.

What do you guys think of this Turtle Wax rinseless?

To me, if a product works as described, no matter what brand name if it works it works! It will be interesting to see what the reviews say. I wonder though how the average consumer, what they'll think of it as they've probably not seen something like this before!

:iagree:I've mentioned ONR and rinsless washes in general to people who keep "clean" cars and they look at me like I'm speaking Spanish. LOL

You watch... Next they'll have a coating. I'd expect this product to perform like most other TW products perform: fair at best. The funny thing is,
It kind of looks like ONR.

Well said. If it works, AND cheap = fan-freaking-tastic. :xyxthumbs: Never assume by name alone. There's usually a gem or two from ho-hum brands.

No hose, 1 bucket= high shine!!
My guess, there isn't any details on the correct procedure for using the bucket method. Average consumer will buy it once to try then get bored with it.
Wonder who makes it for them, ONR?

Stay tuned guys, ill take one for the team and open it and see what it smells like next time I work. I highly doubt Optimum makes it for them.
