IPA, Prep All or stripping LSP needed before Duragloss 501 application?

Two questions regarding working with Duragloss 501.

1) If compounding or polishing is needed on a vehicle prior to Duragloss 501 do you need to wipe down with IPA or Prep All after polishing is complete befor applying 501?

2) If no compounding or polishing is needed, should your prior LSP be stripped prior to Duragloss 105 application?

DuraGloss 501 Marine AIO has really good cleaners in it, so you shouldn't need to do a IPA wipe down first. It's really good product.

also planning on using Duragloss 501... would/should I use a paint cleaner before hand (I have megs paint cleaner, the one that was part of the crystal system... and also have 4star product's pre-wax cleaner)

DG 501 is as good if not better than any other paint cleaner on the market with an added bonus...6 months of solid protection. It's futile to use any other paint cleaner beforehand.

1) Do you clean your pad from section panel to section panel with a pad washer or Mike's, "cleaning on the fly method"?

HM I just got 501 the other day. So is it ideal to top this aio with another lsp?

As others have noted, Duragloss #501 is a beautiful paint cleaner which incorporates a fine abrasive that actually does a decent job at removing minor swirls and like defects. Before using this I'm assuming that you'll wash then clay before polishing with Duragloss #501?

Toss the IPA for now. Once you've finished the cleaning / polishing stage, go right to Duragloss #105 as it complements Duragloss #501 leaving a high gloss and long lasting protection...

Cleaning your pads on the fly works well and should be employed to remove contaminates removed from the finish and freshens up the pads.
