Whats that the new IS? I am sure it wasn't anything special. Its whatever the sponsor their provides. I have seen people at autoshows spraying turtle wax qd with a dirty arse towel.

Prob a glaze, short term shine.

Looks good but half of that is the amount of lighting

Could be Windex for all we know.

... and yes, I saw that happen at the Lexus display at the auto show last year.

Windex? Crazy.

Yeah, new IS. It's a pretty car too, the reflections and shine are crazy!

If that's a glaze, then I need to get some to lay under some carnuba.

I've got some megs 7, but it's impossible for me to work. Dries to fast and I can't ever get it off.

I think a lot is the lighting and the black reflective platform. I notice that same "pop" at the BMW dealer. But, if you look at the paint closely you can see shallow shirls.

It's all lighting, so many people get fooled by that
Granted the paint probably looks good but many of ours in better shape

Am I missing something or is it a bad picture? Nothing special about that shine compared to the hundreds of dripping wet pictures here on AG.
