Typically, in the middle of January, it is in the 20's here in Illinois. The last couple of weekends, however, we've had a random 50+ degree day pop up, so I couldn't pass up the perfect opportunity to clean the car up.

I've been doing a fairly good job of keeping up with ONR washes every week or 2, however a nice warm day like this allowed me to break out the hose for a standard wash with CG Citrus wash and gloss.

Wheels & Tires: Cleaned with APC (10:1)
Tires: Dressed with Meg's Endurance Gel
Wash: CG Citrus Wash and Gloss w/ Sheep Skin Mitt
Dry: Waffle Weave MF
LSP: Wiped down with CG V7
Exhaust: CG Metal Polish + Protection

On to the photos:

Got all of the salty build up off of the wheels and tires

Exhaust tips polished up nicely - they were covered in dirt and salt as well.

The car was treated with 22ple VX1 Pro Coating in November. It is still extremely glossy, and the car still beads water like it was just waxed.

Car is a little dusty already (it was very windy), but it is still swirl free for the most part.

Northern UP of Michigan here. 25+ inches of snow this week and still going, 30+ mph winds, and heading too 0 degrees. Waiting for the 50+ SVT Raptors coming in so I can take some pics.

Wonder if they'll let you test drive one of those Raptors!

^Geeze! That is some insane weather! I couldn't deal with that... my car is useless with only a slight dusting of snow on the roads.

^Thanks! I have no complaints on the metal polish so far. It works very well for the jobs I've needed it. I am not very familiar with other brands though, so I've got nothing to compare it to.

Yes, the cold front is making its way to the east coast. Good thing I was able to take advantage of the moderate temp yesterday and wash my daughter's car plus our SUV, which my wife took to Vermont skiing last week. Needless to say it came back filthy, but it is it's happy and clean self again.

Yet another random weather pattern here in the midwest. Sunny and 55 Saturday afternoon and 6" of snow on the ground on Sunday morning. I'm just ready for shorts and flip flops! Enough of this already!
