How cold are we talking?

Either eraser or a dilute IPA mix

In the case of windscreen washer fluid, it depends entirely on temperature. The problem you have is that for protection much beyond 20F, the solvent content will be adequate to seriously damage LSP. For instance, dilute IPA to 10% and it will freeze at approx 25F, 20% will go to 20F and so on. Anything lower than 10% is really not worth talking about in terms of cold weather protection unless it has a lot of glycol in it (more commonly known as antifreeze) which itself will do damage, not to mention leaving sticky residues.

I use 1z Einsett Anti-Frost. Not cheap, but it works.
