The good news is I found you guys! I've ordered the GG6 starter kit with the pads that come with it and I've picked up some Meg's UC, UP and Scratch X 2.0.. And I've also got a bottle of Collinite 845! After studying up here I truly feel like ill be standing on the shoulders of genius.. I've even got my old hood to do a test spot on and practice a bit!! :)

Feel free to wish me luck, make a suggestion or just tune in to see what a car salesman can do when he puts his energy and dedication into something!

Can't wait for my GG to arrive!!!

And does anyone know if I can use a 3 inch backing plate on the GG6?

Awesome, thanks for the info.. I may drop by and pick some up for the TA then... I'd apply it first, then the wax of my choice, eh? Any cure time needed?

Also, another dumb question: can I put Collinite on my plastic fender flares and caps and such on the Yukon and Wrangler?

If it's painted white, yes.

I've put collinite on plastic trim with no wax residue issues. It even seems to darken the plastic.
