What is the best approach for washing the roof on SUV or larger car?

Do you use a brush or other type of device?

Thanks for the help!

I use a step ladder. I will probably get a work platform like Werner next time they are on sale.

I had a very soft brush that I used for a while, and then found myself just using my wash mitt and standing on a milk crate for fear of the brush scratching the paint.

The Werner work platform works really well for roofs. It enables me to easily reach the roof on my truck using my mitt with ease.

:iagree:

When you're not using it as a platform, makes a great portable table for us mobile guys. Occasionally on sale too, and also available at Lowes if that's all you have nearby.

While I will probably buy the bench on sale on at some point, I decided to buy this cheap device from Walmart.... MF mitt on a stick. This will only be used on the front and back windows and roof. If this creates a swirl or two, no one will know.

Thanks for the help.

If the customers house has no windows on the second floor just skip the roof.

:iagree:Even with a Werner platform, it's a stretch to get the middle of a 'Burb!
