Well, making use of my new gift, a PC 7424XP and assorted LC pads, I hit a Grand National that was pretty well in need of TLC paint wise. I used Meg's Ultimate Compound with an orange pad. Here are the results....give me your feedback and is Ultimate Compound the same as M102??

14942
14943
14944
14945
14946
14947
14948
14949

Unfortunately my product selection was limited to Ultimate Compound and Tech Wax 2.0 but turned out decent for my first go I think?

From your third picture, it seems you did a great job at removing the majority of defects :)

I think an order to AG is in order (no pun intended) to get some more abrasive compound or yellow pads.

And no I don't believe those are the same product

M102 ???

Ultimate Compound is the less aggressive cousin of M105

Some people have posted that Ultimate Polish is the consumer version of M205 but I've never heard this, read this or seen any official message from Meguiar's as to the accuracy of this statement.

That said, Ultimate Polish is a Fine Cut Polish and a good follow-up to Ultimate Compound. That's what we used here,

Better than before and probably better than most cars on your block and in the parking lot where you work.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the responses. Sorry about the photo posting bumble I did that from Tapatalk. Guess it's preferred I do photo uploads from my PC huh?

Haha M102....sorry about the dyslexia there!!!!

Ill definitely order some more LC pads soon.

Up here in Canada it's tough to buy anything other than the consumer versions of the Meg's products.

I might give Meg Canada a call and see who distributes the professional product lines and in larger quantities than what I have.

Thanks for the Avatar Mike!

There is a Canadian distributor that carries AG's products. I don't know exactly which products...but I thought they had a pretty good selection. One of your friends from the north should be able to direct you.
