Is your point that AG has the best sales?

Because......

I got 25% off and free shipping for $75.00 at another site this Christmas.

Just saying.....

I had my basket filled at three different sites and took the best offer. (Two were PBMG)

As much as I like AG, they don't always have the best deals.

Not meant to offend...

Well, it's always good advice to shop smart.

I get a very strong impression, that at least with Max, and Todd (at Autopia) these folks try very hard to run a very respectable, and customer oriented business.

That let's for say these folks run a 10% sale, and a day or two later run a 20% sale, I'm of the impression that these folks arent about to turn you away like a 'Jethro Tull-Aqualung".

You'll come away happy, and fairly compensated.

I haven't spent that much, I'm a "little guy" here, but I betcha between AG and Autopia in the last two months, I've spent about $900.

So far, I have absolutely not a complaint, not even a slight one, against their evidently azz-breaking folks, who have done beyond great work to fill my orders, send email confirmation, updates, tracking numbers. (not to mention there's always been some sweet samples, and unexpected niceties)

I know you cannot disagree, all is just really quality service these folks do.
That will definitely get these folks my future consideration always.

Oh, and Happy New Year to the AG, and Autopia Folks, as well as all you fine Forumites! God Bless, and stay safe! Mark

Could be just me, but this thread seems more of a: "Check out this super awesome discount, folks!" in jest, rather than, "Stop whining, you cheap bastards."

7.5% is pretty funny, cant say I've seen that one before. I guess they thought 5 sounded cheap and 10 would've hurt? Dunno?

I'm thinking this is something of: 'you buy and we cover tax' type of promotion.

In my neck of woods, Orchard Supply runs this often.

you guys do realize that a "discount" is really just a refund of an overcharge dont you?

The higher the discount, the more they normally over charge you. These charges also roll down hill so its not 100% AG, its also the manufacturers.
