XBMC is an award-winning free and open source software media player and entertainment hub for digital media. This is a great program for an HTPC (home theater personal computer). XBMC can play Blue Ray's from the D drive or play videos, movies and TV shows ripped to the HDD. It also has the local weather, photos and music.
The "Frodo" build has a stunning graphical interface especially paired with the "transparency" skin. XBMC can stream 1000's of free movies and TV shows through the "NAVI-X" addon.
Here is a short video showing the different views of the fan art, box covers etc. of 500 movies ripped to my HDD.
