Someone posted a thread seeking guidance for pricing as the OP didn't want to gouge his friend/customer. I realized then that there are numerous business models as several detailers expressed to the OP to raise his initial detail pricing, and to make up for the higher initial price by lowering his maintenance pricing  ...I say hogwash.

I charge accordingly for the job and charge accordingly for the maintenance...which is my bread and butter.
This car is a garage queen (2 person/4 vehicle household) and is on bi-monthly scheduled maintenance.
The two daily drivers seen throught the photos get occassional washes from the $20 mobile setup on Rt 450/Greenbelt Rd ~ more power to that detailer, lol.

I polished this car out with AM Purple Blaze last November, topped with AM Strawberry Wet Wax and maintained with OCWC washes and ONR@QD, or another application of the Wet Wax.
By the third appointment, I found AG and the Optimum lineup, including the Twins. The car now gets OPS,OOS,OCW everytime as needed.
This go round the paint was in near perfect conditon so I chose to top with Collinite 845

Notice the puddles in the cul de sac. The sun however does make a brief comback.

Interrupted by this guy, the owner of the black E 350 that I washed the other night. The 350 is scheduled for Wednesday polishing/sealing.
This classic is scheduled for Thursday ~ notice the heavily oxidized paint of this cleaned vehicle...but also notice what caught my eye...the cell phone on the trunk
However, there will be no pics as this is my last photo thread here at AGO. Just too much time and effort for me to post photos for a show and shine type thread.

Back safely in the garage with the other GQ -'12 Explorer that the better half won't let a detailer touch ~ all dealer washed. Time to get scratch...a buck and a half, plus $5 tip

Car looks like new.

And if it's in a garage it will keep looking that way for the next couple of decades.

I know this and you know this, but Mr.C is a faithful customer. He was actually not happy that it got rained on that morning. Dudes house and GQ's are always immaculate...except for the dealership tire shine that slings all over the Explorer.
Maint. wash with WOWA/WOWO runs $65. Here in Md., owners are less concerned with wheel barrels, and this is one of a handfull that I dress the wheel wells...most instruct not to bother due to the prevalence of asphalt driveways.

When I started this vehicle last year, it had TOGW, and had a heavy dressing under the hood and in the jambs. It's rarely driven, but makes 1 tip to New England every spring; and one to the ATL every summer.

After seeing the pics, i forgot to dress the window trim with OOS.
When I polished the shock towers and jambs earlier, several scratches were too deep to remove, and the ds tower had rough paint that wouldn't benefit from sanding.
