Thinking of picking up a Wagener 915 or the McCulloch MC-1275.
Any differences on them, or reason to choose one over the other?

(I can get the 915 for $40 on craigslist, new in box!)

What do you use your steamer on? Seats, carpets, etc? And whats your process??

Thanks!

I have the Wagner 905 which is similar, just a little cosmetic difference. Although it's not a VX 5000, I really like it. I use it for cleaning interiors and it does a fine job.

One downside is be sure to keep the steam away from electronics and controls because the steam is quite moist -- more so than "pro" steamers like the VX 5000. One time I detailed my brother-in-law's Montana which has radio controls on the steering wheel. I used the 905 to remove some of the gunk build up on the controls. Much to my dismay, the radio started to randomly change stations and volume afterwards. After a while, it stopped changing stations and resumed normal operation.

For the money, it's great. The Wagner and McCulloch units are virtually the same. I won't detail an interior without my steamer anymore. I'd like to get a VX 5000 or something like it in the near future, but for now, my 905 will do just fine. For $40 NIB you can't go wrong.

Thanks.
I have heard the Wagner 915 and McCulloch units are the same.

Do people use them on carpet stains, or leather?

I used to use my steamer a lot, now I use a Tornador and the steamer doesn't get used.

I have a xv5000 and a small $30 portable steamer. I use the big guy on details that I need to do a good amount of cleaning. It takes a little while to heat up so if I only need to clean the windows, I will use the little quart size steamer since it takes like 4 minutes to heat up.
