Liquid Glass- anyone used it?

Back in the day it was good, unless they changed the formula I imagine it is still good. I used it a while back.

Havent seen it in a couple of years, possibly a casualty of the VOC regulations. I believe they even offered a detail spray for sometime.

I used to use it alot on my weekend driver. Even though my truck was garaged most of the week, durability was short. It was a dark blue silverado, and it looked beautiful freshly waxed with it though.

Spread this stuff THIN! Sometimes a slightly damp applicator pad helps too.

I still see this product, I believe our local Auto Zone carries it.

Bought a can once years ago. It was alright, but nothing really special I thought.

Another product I used to buy, was Nathan's Liquid Lustre. Was great on the Garage Door back in Chicago, and when the kids used to grafitti the door with paint-shoe polish, I'd simply go out there with the Liquid Lustre, and it would all come right off.

Betcha they used to then wonder, and scratch their heads, "How did that guy get the paint off the door?" LOL

Thanks for all the replies, this site has been a real help for me. My father used to say "experience is an expensive teacher", but it's the best one too. I've been fine tuning which products to use for each section of detailing that work best for me and save time but not affect quality. I want all the work I can get, so I guess I'll try autozone or ebay and test Liquid Glass on my truck, and apply thin.

-I usually get mine from Advanced Auto, or Denny's Auto Parts in Berlin Center, Ohio

IMHO:
No need for stress to be part of your truck's: 'Liquid Glass test'
Just follow the directions on the container.
And have a good pair of Polarized-shades handy. :cool:
