Normally I would just experiment with waxes but both of these are a pain to remove. I only do this as a hobby so I need experience from more seasoned detailers.

While durability is important I'm more after looks. Wheels are polished factory cleared. Would Klasse SG with 3-5 coats give a better hard shine vs 845?

Thanks

Never tried SG, but 845 is awesome on wheels. I have some sealant samples I'm going to try on wheels soon.

I asked a similar question in my thread http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/58070-rim-care.html

Most are saying to Opti Coat, but I am going to give GTechniq a go and see what happens.

I used KSG on my wheels since I had about 1/3 bottle and it wasn't getting any love....

Then I remembered a thread from way back when Klasse was one of the only sealants around, and there was talk about using it as a QD. So I decided to try using the KSG diluted as a final wipe for the wheels after a wash.

These threads tell the story, and for your convenience a quick video I made showing results of using KSG (applying and then using diluted solution as a drying/retreat).
