I wanted some more practice so over the Thanksgiving holidays I worked on my uncle's truck. He has a black F150 with over 200,000 miles on it. There were a lot of chips and scratches that were too deep to repair, but the results still speak for them selves. Sorry I didn't get enough before shots. Special thanks to Jason (Iconic Detailing) for his time, help, and skills.

Yep, a truck that was used as a truck. It came out great, looks awesome, and nice work!:props:

What products/process did you use?

My pickup is about the same size, mega cab and all. How long did it take you? I usually spend 2 days to wash/clay/compound/polish/wax mine.

Did you go back and dress the front wheel wells?

My uncle washed it the day before and I had Jason from Iconic Detailing helping me. So in total we clayed using the nanoskin pads (great product by the way), then cut, polish, and sealant. We put some wax on the hood, but weren't able to see a difference so we didn't worry about waxing the rest of the truck. We worked from 8am till 4pm and were able to finish in a day. My uncle was able to help out for a few hours as well.

Great work. I bet your Uncle is sooo happy. That truck is in great shape for 200,000 + miles of service. My son has my old F150 now and it's approaching 200k. I would like to say it's in as good as shape but I would be lying.
