Hello Gents!

I try to give myself some time and work on my car as much as possible now. And of course time to figure out how to post pics here and all. So, I shall test it!

When I first came onto these forums I wrote I have a bought a pre-owned (one owner) 04 Honda Accord in white. I know Black is a full time color to maintain but White is such a pain. Even more so since I don't have the luxury of have a garage just yet (but soon I'm hoping). It is my daily so I can't expect it to be show room everyday with it sitting out near some trees. I had also mentioned that my first time when I bought it I did a was and wax. Nothing special really. But it literately was my first time doing something like this myself. Before this car all I did was take it to a car wash (boo me now lol). But, now this is my second time trying. With a wife, kids and work It's hard to find time but boy do I love when I do. Every step is a learning process!

My tools:
Cheap Orbital buffer
Several MF towels & pads
Mother's Wash & Wax
Meguiars Ultimate Polish
NXT Wax
Meguiars Clay Kit
3M Headlight Restoration Kit
(I know the Buffer isn't what most of you gents use but all these tools and buffer are either free from my job or people just trying to return it. So for now I'm going to use it until I start buying a Porter Cable, ONR and CG stuff. So far the products I would like to try.)

First was the headlights. Then wash, clay bar, clean again, Polish, Wax, and buff. Between my daughter playing Angry Birds and barely any sun coming out all I could really take a pic of was some swirls and the headlights before. So, I apologize in advance.

The sun never came out again that day. But, I did take some nice shots the day after.

For my second time and having the whole day to do it, I've had the time of my life. I did forget to take a better after photo of swirls. But, if I were to say at least 90% went away. I'm guessing It was because of the cheap buffer. I know it wasn't the number one choice but I did what I could with the tools I have at the moment. Don't worry, I will get better tools and skills with time lol. But, that's it in a nutshell! Since, I'm such a green horn at this please any feedback will be greatly appreciated! Don't care how bad or good. I take it all into consideration. Hell, even on how I posted LOL

White is a difficult color to photograph because it reflects so much like making detail difficult to see. Your car did come out nice and being pleased with your work is what counts...

Nice Job! :props:
