View Full Version : Question on Polishing plastic/rubber window trim

Was looking at this thread http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/58009-how-best-clean-protect-trim.html and it got me to thinking about some videos I've seen on youtube about polishing these trim pieces. I usually clean the moldings and then apply UTTG, but was wondering why some people do what they do...

How many of you polish, or have polsihed the trim/seals around the windows? What pads/products did you use? (Not refering to products like UTTG or WETS.)

If you apply a product like UTTG do you apply it before or after compounding/polishing/waxing the paint?
