What is the typical shelf life for cleaner waxes?
I've got some Meg's stuff that's been sitting for about 6 years. Never opened though.

I'm sorry, it's not Meg's. it's mothers carnauba cleaner wax.

Probably should be okey. Has it ever been frozen? That will destroy things in a big hurry.

Just thought, paste or liquid? If paste...no problems (as long as it has been well sealed).

I have some M-16 that is almost 20 years old that is still good.

It's a liquid. Should be good then. Just didn't want to mess somthing up.

As long as temperature extremes are avoided, item you mentioned should be okay.
All my detailing chemicals are stored inside my condo. Spent a small fortune on what I presently have and don't want to see them get wasted because of improper storage.

I don't know the full life cycle of Mothers to warehouse to store to shelf, but at $8 per bottle for new why not scrap the 6 year old stuff and start fresh? Mothers California Gold Brazilian Carnauba Cleaner Wax (http://www.autogeek.net/16ozliquid.html)
