Hi, I just brought a bottle of Collinite 845 to use on my clients cars before the harsh winter sets in, I want to know if I can put a carnuba liquid based wax using my porter cable on top of the Collinite 845. If so, is there any curing time between the two steps?

You can. But you're defeating the purpose of 845, that being it's durability.

Yes, many people top 845.

My Collinite coated panels seem to be lasting longer (better beading) then my Carnuba coated panels. The paint has been sealed with WGDGPS 3.0 first.

First...
I would apply two "coats" of #845 (to ensure total coverage)---
allowing at least 12 hours between "coats".

Secondly...
I would allow at least until April, 2013...for the 'proper cure time' of the #845...
before applying any additional liquid carnuba wax(es).

Thirdly (probably foremost)...
Isn't Collinite #845, in all actuality, a: "Carnuba liquid-based wax ??

I'm probably sounding harsh with this post, but there's no necessity to top 845 with anything.

That although I've never used Souveran, or Fuzion, I'm still betting you'd have to have eyeballs like an eagle to tell the difference.

In other words what I'm saying, is don't underestimate the quality of 845 (let alone the longevity), this is a killer product. That if some other esoteric company was able to re-lable it, you'd be paying $60 a bottle for it.

If you have a well maintained vehicle, or one that's just been properly corrected, any of the Collinite line will knock your eyes out.

You will then become a Collinite "Disciple", sold for the rest of your days.

I have, have been for over 20 years. It's a product which basically has no peer.

If anything, that I would maybe top any Collinite product with, it might be a good spray detailer after a wash to remove water spots, nothing more. Mark

Yes, you can. Cure time for 845 is 8-12 hours before you apply another layer of 845 or another LSP. Others have stated you don't really need to top 845. I am not one of those in that camp. It is entirely up to you.

I have topped 845 with OCW, Mother's Carnauba Paste Wax, etc....
