Can anyone tell me why this clay is so expensive? I bought the Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay and thought it was a good price. This one is $30.

Is it the best of the best?

Just wondering...

I'd like to know too why it's dang expensive, and how aggressive it is from experience. Hey P1et, if it works for you, no need to use anything else :).

The Pinnacle is a great price, the meguiar's is actually just about the same price considering that you're getting nearly twice as much (Meguiar's tub has 7oz instead of 4oz with the Pinnacle). (This is comparing the current sale price of Pinnacle Clay (http://www.autogeek.net/ultra-fine-poly-clay.html) with the Meguiar's).

Megs is HIGHLY priced here. NXT tech wax costs $ 60 usd, water magnet $ 35 usd. But im spreading the word regarding AG on forums, so others also can get the gooooood stuff from AutoGeek.....

Thank heaven that AutoGeek ships abroad.....Meguiars inc are not aloved to ship to Europe

There is absolutely nothing special about the mild or aggressive Meg's clay. I've used both and haven't found them to be worth what they are selling for. Pick up the poly clay from pinnacle and be happy that it is on sale for such a reasonable price.

It the best clay Megs offers. Very easy to work with, and is much better then their consumer grade clay. Comes in 7 oz bar.

Funny thing is that I was at CarQuest today as my friend wanted some clay. It didn't have a price on it, so he walked up to the counter and was going to pay it until the redneck woman behind the counter said it was $32 plus tax.

I told him "put that back right now!!!"

So we went over to O'Reilly's and they had the Megs "box" with the clay, MF, QD and some wax for $19. BARGAIN!
