Hey there everyone, hope you all are enjoying your weekend! So I was recently in one of my friends' BMW E90 M3, and when I entered his car, I was blasted by the wonderful smell of Vanilla. This smell was from a brand called Little Trees (those colourful trees that you hang on your rear view mirror).

I just wanted everyone's opinion on them in regards to the safety of being in a car with them...some brands have chemicals that cause respiratory diseases...although they last about a month!

Any thoughts?

I always thought keeping your house or your car clean was a better idea than trying to cover over bad odors with air fresheners.

the wonderful smell of Vanilla...
...from a brand called Little Trees

^^^Wish I had bought that smell-variety...^^^

Instead of these:

Main Reason: Because I forgot about the following:

regards to the safety of being in a car with them...

Which resulted in very unsafe 'conditions', for me, when a fishy-smell was
noticed being emitted from the vehicle by a certain family member.

Any thoughts?

^^^Yes...I have a couple. Thanks for asking!^^^

Now...
-Whether it be that I am being punished for alleged misdoings...

Or:

-I've reached that: "Old Man Smell"...stage of my Life;

"The Good Wife" purchased this fashionable Lil' Tree item for me.

I'll conclude by saying that:
-Yes!!! Some Little Tree air fresheners may, indeed, be bad for ones Health&Safety!!!

:D

It's one thing to keep the car clean, but the car in my opinion should smell nice than smell like nothing :P

Bob, why is it that most of your posts in my threads tend to be sarcastic...which I very much enjoy, they always give me a good laugh  Thanks for your insight!

Your wife must really love you Bob to see you where that outfit to bed every night lol...

That's fine. I'm sure there is no health danger, unless you have a respiratory condition or are highly allergic. Just remember that in order for you to smell something, there have to be molecules of it floating around in the air, so if you can smell it, you ARE breathing in something, however innocuous it might be.

That makes sense, thanks!

Never tried the Vanilla, might have to give that one a go if I can find them.

Bouquet scent was one of my favs. (they're Blue)

One little nasty quality of the trees though, is that being placed up against plastic-vinyl, they will melt-damage it.

Had this happen on a small wood grained trim area on my '94 Lincoln Town Car's Dash. Mark
