Hello
I am new to AG forums, I live in florida and my Auto repair shop has well water and I'm not sure if its a great idea to start detailing cars because of the nasty smelling water. My question is will it be safe to use and still get great results?

Maybe buy a water filter?
Try this link
Deluxe Clean Water Filter Kit, 2 step water filter system, water filter for car washing, inline hose filter (http://autogeek.commerce-search.net/redirect?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.autogeek.net%2Fdelux e-filter-system.html)

trial and error, test it on your car
worst case scenario its rich in minerals etc and will spot / be hard water

Thank you I will be buying this in the near future and maybe one for the house when I clean my own vehicle.

I've heard the CR Spotless system is the best on the market... pricey, but the best.

I would contact the water company, it should not smell. If they say a price and its harmful, argue that you cannot do business

I have no water company, its a well.
I wish I was on the city water line even know I am dead square in the middle of a residential area. The building I rent is old . I am going to buy a well water filtration system and see if that helps some.

I just detail my personal vehicle, but this is the reason I switched to ONR (rinseless). My city water is insanely hard.
