Well to make a long story short, I'm extremely disappointed. I have a 1800/1.5gpm elec pw and bought the mtm hydro canon. I used DP extreme foam first with 2oz and the added another 2oz hoping for better results. Oh well. It works but def not like a higher power pw.

I read on others forums that 1.5.GPM is not recommended to obtain great amount of foam.
The guys are talking about PW having 4 GPM and one of them uses CG Super Suds II soap with great results.

My washer is 1700/1.4gpm. I use 3-4 oz of Meguiar’s Hyper-Wash and get great, thick foam. I also add 1/2 cap of ONR. Try diluting your soap with warm water. How high is your mixer adjusted?

I tried dialing the flow all the way in both directions.

I have mine 1/4 turn off full. (that's clockwise all the way and back off 1/4 turn)
I have read in various places that your water can have an effect on your results. I don't know the particulars of my water but I have found I get a little better results with a bit of ONR added as stated.
There is a bit of a learning curve. I have tried CG Honeydew, Optimum Car Wash and the Meguires Hyper.

What's your psi/gph for the pw?

I have the same setup, Dreenworks pw 1700 psi, 1.4gpm, and mtm foam blaster. I use cg citrus wash and get really nice suds, using 2-3 oz and filled with water. Maybe you have really hard water tht keeps the suds down?

I may be. I'm actually out of town and brought my setup with me to wash the truck. The people I'm staying with told me they put a softener for the house water.
