What do you guys do after your car has been driven in the rain and don't have time to do a complete wash. Do you spray waterless wash directly on the wet car, or let it dry and do a wash when you can? The car is black which adds to the trouble. Any help would be appreciated.

Immediately after it rains if you have access to running water and it's not illegal to wash your car in your driveway then at a minimum spray off the lower panels to knock off any of the heavy stuff thrown onto lower panels by your car's tires before the dirt dries.

Other than that... probably better off to wait till you can wash it before spraying city water onto horizontal surfaces if you can't wash, rinse and dry. Too much nasty stuff in treated water that risks inflicting Type II Water Spots into the paint.

Mike gave some great advice. I usually spray off the lower panels as well, the dirt usually flies right off if I have a good coat of sealant on the car.
