This project was about 90% finished at my January 26 & 27th, 2012 Detailing Boot Camp Class (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/sign-up-saturday-detailing-101/56033-mike-phillips-s-detailing-boot-camp-january-26th-27th.html) and then the following Monday after all my students had gone home I knocked out the roof and did a little touch-up here and there and then added a coat of Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax.

All the pictures from this 2-day class can be seen here,

Rare and Unique
It's a fairly rare car and deserves it's own thread. Besides that, I don't know anywhere else people can attend a detailing class and actually work on cool cars like this 1949 Chevy Carryall the precursor to the Suburban, so here it is in all its glory...

1949 Chevrolet Carryall Extreme Makeover
After the Vette is finished we tackle the 1949 Chevrolet Carryall using Pinnacle Polishes and Flex Polishers plus PC's, Megs and Griot's DA Polishers.

Before
All the paint looked just like this, it was dull and hazy from being buffed using only a rotary buffer and probably a wool pad.

Process
The class was encouraged to test and and use all types of DA Polishers including the Cyclo Polisher, Meguiar's G110v2, Griot's Garage 6" DA Polisher and the Porter Cable 7424XP
