I want to add some onr to my washer fluid. It's a gallon so how many oz has anybody had a positive experience with? Thanks

I have no clue, but I thought about adding some UWW+ at the recommended waterless wash dilution also. I guess I would used the recommended waterless wash dilution 1 ounce per 2 gallons ( for ONR)

Idk about that idea, won't the extra dilution to the wiper fluid possibly cause it to freeze? The washer fluid has alcohol in it to prevent freezing, and adding more water based solution to it may cause problems? Idk I may be wrong

I live in the south; it won't freeze and I'm adding it to straight water.

I don't think that's a good idea. I've noticed that when I do a rinseless, if I don't completly dry the car the ORN leaves behind a film on the paint. Putting it in the washer fluid would also leave behind this film.

I tried this over the summer in my truck and it worked great. I'm not sure how much I used... I didn't really measure it out. Maybe just 1-2oz ONR and the rest water.

I just tried using some Meguiar Ultimate wash and wax to clean my side mirror, and it kept smearing....

I'd assume ONR will do the same in windshield....?

I haven't had any problems with ONR streaking on my windshield when used in place of wiper fluid. Maybe try using a lower dilution? :dunno:

I use Einszett Kristall Klar in the washer water and started adding ONR a couple months ago. Great results. I add about 1/2 cap per gallon.

I add 1-2oz of ONR to my reservoir but not exactly sure of its capacity.
Cleans windscreen & any film or residue on the paint/untouched areas of windscreen is no worse than with plain water

This time of year you will need methanol added to prevent freezing.

Hi Chris! Would it mix OK with regular (non-detergent) windshield washer anti-freezes?

Chris,
Any suggestions on how much to dilute in 1 gal to make my own wiper fluid? Ps I live in the Deep South. Never had my water freeze ever!! :D

I'm currently using it a dilution of 1:300 - somewhat more diluted than the rinseless wash solution. No streaking to speak of, and since I live in a tropical country, I don't have to worry about it freezing in the tank.

In TN we make it 15% methanol until about November then bump it to 30% thru March. With 1-2 oz detergent per gallon.
