Winding down a three day weekend in the Queen City Tarheel.
Checked in the University Place Hilton Friday at 11...4 hours earlier than normal but permission was granted weeks ago.

Had a wonderful time here in the Q.C... only left the suite once since we've arrived..yet finding myself sneaking out to see what I've been missing on the forum.

Now to sneak back in before she awakes. Hopefully, she'll understand.

Right after Thanksgiving I will wind down detailing(as winter will start to roll in) so I know I will have plenty of forum time. I just won't have any detailing time.

Best to stay on the wife's good side.

AMEN :props: ^^^

I spend too much time on the forums. Needed to spend time with the better half.
Darn shame that I had to slip out to the business center instead of holding out one more day.:o

Basically everything that I do is one step and maint. Easier money if this is what one is after.
If you can get full corrections and the price that goes with it, then congrats on finding your niche.
I don't see many correction jobs, but I don't seek them either.

Stopped at JR's in NC and picked up more discount winter wear as I await the winter salt season here in the DMV.

Thanks for posting...I'm done. Short 440 or so drive back home, checked the pm's and this thread.

See you on the forums.:dblthumb2:

Thanks Flash :props:

I actually pulled into the drive about midnight, unloaded the rental, then straight to the forum.

Blew off a CTS scheduled for today, returned the rental, and hung out in Annapolis with the better half.
Orthodontist tomorrow :(, then back at it Thursday.

Happy detailing...:autowash:

Roger...will do.
Looking at Christmas season maybe, but I promised my little girl (21) a Redskin's weekend Dec 16th.

I was on a strict no detail/no forum/no family/no C.B. radio Charlotte weekend. Had to go to SC to pick up equipment that I've left over the year that I use in SC only. Rented a van and got gone.

Missed the planned Lexington Va. truck show weekend while I was in Texas in Oct. so I had to make that up to her, and got the chance to visit my daughter in Salem,Va. on the back haul.

Anyway, got a bunch of Hilton Platinum comps from better half's Vegas gambling that have to be used by Jan 01.
All in all was a good getaway.

Yes sir, very nice of you to give me a call. Please do call anytime. I love the part of the forums where people with like minded interests can become friends beyond the keyboard. :dblthumb2:

Vegas, I can totally understand a restricted forum life. I frequent a few forums and seem to spend way too much time on them.

I think it stems from a guilty pleasure of learning everything so I can do it all.

But even if I couldn't, there's always "personal time" and a smartphone!

The wife is a news hound/political junkie. During the election process she was quite busy.
She's a dyed in the wool Conservative. I bleed Blue.

So, to keep the peace, I do what I'm told to do.
Besides, what's Gilligan without Mary Ann?

Hi VT...

Besides some AGO-forum time...
Seems like I have to do a lot of 'sneaking'-around nowadays...

Best Regards,

Bob [aka: "Clandestine Charlie")]

Funny. My wife is also a political junkie (and why I moved to DC in the first place--I'm a Northern California transplant). But we share political views. I guess that's why she lets me hang out on the forums?
