I've just finished polishing out my truck with 105/205 and am going to start the finishing steps with Blacklight, Collinite 845, and V7.

I don't have any black pads but do have green and red CCS pads. I'd like to use the green pads. Anybody see any issues with this? I think I also have a few red hydrotech pads. I know it depends on the vehicle and I should just try it, but I thought I'd throw it out there for opinions anyway.

Thanks in advance.

If you achieved a swirl free finish with 205 then I would try the Crimson HydroTech for Blacklight. You might induce maring with the green pad and be working backwards.

The crimson Hydrotech pad worked great. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the sun.

Red CCS pad would be great. Be sure to test this combo first, observing proper curing time for BL before topping it with 845. I found durability issues topping BL with non CG waxes.
