can anyone recommend a detailing bag to carry my DA, some pads, and products that doesn't break the bank?

There are some here on AG store, around $50-60. I would recommend going to Sears and picking one up, they have great carry bags for around 10-30$ with lots of pockets & pretty well made.

I carry my Cyclo in a Dewalt DCK019 (http://www.dewalt.com/tools/cordless-combo-packs-combo-pack-bags-dck019.aspx) bag; my Dewalt DWP829X in a Dewalt DCBAG3 (http://www.dewalt.com/tools-discontinued/cordless-combo-packs-combo-pack-bags-dcbag3.aspx), which has been replaced by the Dewalt DG5553 (http://www.dewalt.com/tools/work-gear-softside-tool-carriers-dg5553.aspx).

I also use a GG bag (http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/car+care+organizer+bag+ii.do?sortby=ourPicks) that has a collection of my "go-to" items. It'll hold a GG polisher, pads, bottles of chemicals and what ever you can stuff into the bag. Not bad for about $40.

I agree w/ colin there. Check out Sears. I just happened to poke around there while my car was getting aligned to kill some time and found the clearance section. I ended up picking up a nice durable looking bag w/ a reinforced rubber bottom for about $22. It's basic and has some extra storage pockets to stow other items in. Can't hurt to check out the local stores in your area first before you buy a pricey bag online.

Yard sales and Salvation Army type resellers.
$1 (black) and $5 (tan) respectively.

Stackable. Holds plenty of tools and product.

7336, 7424, 9227c (bp/handle removed), 8 mf pads - tan.

2- 849's, 6- 6.5 foam pads, 4- squirt bottles of product - black.

I got a tote at Sears last year for $10 on sale before Christmas. Padded handle, pockets on the sides. It doesn't hold everything, but it holds enough to take with me for touch ups when going to parades.

I got a project center last year for half price ($100) at Sears too. I had a plastic cart that I hadn't assembled yet that was $80, so I returned it and spent the extra 20.

Don't know what your budget is, but look around, and you'll find something that will work. I looked at home centers, and they have metal carts for around $40, but I thought they looked cheap and would be a PITA to assemble, and probably wouldn't last long. You might try Harbor Freight too.

Another option is check out your local hardware stores.

I'm using the AG Pro Detail Bag. Plenty of room for all that I've bought here.

Not all autogeek detailer's bags are the same price FYI. Some are as low as 39.99. A savvy forum member would seek out those and the current VIP offer and probably walk away happy.

I don't do detailing for a living, but I like the Wolfgang bag sold by AG.

The AG bag for 39.99 is OK, but the middle part that is snapped to the sides to hold whatever you place in it separate from the bottom area is pretty weak, I have three and they all bend and collapse and constantly unsnap, it's really irritating. The Craftsman bags are pretty nice as mentioned.

Home Depot has a HUSKY brand bag perfect for detailers. I'll try to snap a pic of mine but I can tell you it holds over 6 32 oz spray bottles, countless, compounds, leather conditioner, degreasers, aeresols, and much more.

The home depot Husky bags come in 2 sizes. I have both of them. I got them a while back. I believe the large one is $30 and the smaller one is around $20.
