First post so I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but:
I have a 28 foot sailboat and want to buff off the very top layer of the gelcoat on the topsides. (e.g. the portion that is totally chalky) The info I have read suggests the Makita 9227c as the right tool for this. Looking at the info on the 9227c in the for sale section of the site says the 9227c is only for pros. SO, what would be the appropriate buffer for a person who is clearly not a pro??
