Hi folks.

Almost out of my current LSP/topper wax, Pinnacle SSII. Right now the car has BFWD sealant as a base, and I top with the wax when it either wears/bakes off or when I just want to spend some time detailing.

Suggestions for another wax? I'm not unhappy with the SSII, but like to try new things. I've used Souveran as well as the SII, so thinking maybe Fuzion or Midnight Sun. Waxes last me a long time :)

Anyway, I was pretty sure I would try Fuzion next, but that was when I was using WDGPS, and figured the Fuzion was a no brainer because not only does it get great reviews, it's a "sister" product to the WDGPS. But now I'm using BFWD...maybe Midnight Sun?

I know I pretty much can't go wrong with any of them, but appreciate any thoughts.

Paint is dark blue metallic (BMW Monaco Blue Metallic). It's in pretty good shape. The tires are dressed in the photo, really they are - just the satin look I like got buried in the harsh sunlight. :)

You can't go wrong with Füzion.

I would go with Midnight Sun. I have had very good results with it.

One thing favoring this approach is I have 6 bottles of BF Midnight Sun Instant Detailer....which means I would be using one product "line" from base -> LSP -> QD. only other thing regularly used on the paint is ONR or UWW+.

But is Fuzion even better? Anyone who's tried both? Or would the fact that it's all one "line" be significant?

And thanks - that car is the most fun I've had with an automobile since high school....

I've used Midnight Sun, SSII,5050, and Fuzion....all good. Midnight Sun has the same poymers, so it should last the best.

+1 for BFMS. I just did the Fire Over Ice this weekend, never done the combo before, just BFWD, but oh my, unreal with MS, I usually can't tell but this combo I could, added an entire new depth to BFWD....

Wow, must admit I'm a bit surprised, because of all the raves I've heard about Fuzion, figured it would at least be 50-50. So far, BFMS is way up.

Keep the thoughts coming - I'm an information addict. :)

As mentioned and pictured, paint is dark blue metallic, and I'm partial to a deep, wet look....

BFMS is the LSP on my car, it was topped on BFCS.

If you use BFMS, you're keeping it in the family! The two are designed to work together, so most people will probably go that route. Like they would pair WGDGPS and Fuzion....You can't go wrong with either combo, but if using BFWD might as well use MS as they're designed for one another.
