You just never know where you will find Nick Rutter at, but today you get a glimpse of him working some Flex magic in the Sonax booth.
Nick was asked by Sonax to visit their booth today to try out the new Sonax Proline Polishes and what better to test them with but a Flex PE14!
Chris from Flex North America on the left of Nick and to the right is Eric from Sonax Germany! :buffing:

I have a feeling Nick will be bringing back a lot of new products to share with everyone after SEMA!

It's always a lot of fun when Nick is around! But he is a true car guy, get him around cars and or a polisher and he is like a kid at Disney.

At SEMA last year Sonax had a very large exhibit complete with their entire product line, a Formula 1 car and a model.
So I am sure that this year is very similar end equally impressive.
Go Nick :buffing:

The guys at Sonax are a pleasure to work with and their new polishes are FANTASTIC!

Eric from Sonax of Germany is extremely knowledgable and an excellent teacher to boot.

Both of the new polishes 5/5, 3/6 along with perfect finish are amazing. Got to check out all 3, but it seemed perfect finish wasn't making it to the US until a little after the polishes.

I did learn something pretty cool today at their booth. Sonax owns their own mine so the abrasives in these new polishes are exclusive to them. And the polishes need to be worked over the section for around 30-40 seconds to finish down correctly.

I was demonstrating Sonax 5/3 (5 = cut (out of 6) and 3 = finish (out of 6) on a Flex PE14-2-150 equipped with an orange light cutting pad and let me tell you, this stuff finishes beautifully. I was shocked at the finish it provided with the amount of cut it had. It also has a very long working time, doesn't dust and wipes off without any effort.

Jason from Sonax was nice enough to hook me up with a bottle of each...you know, for, uh, testing purposes. :)

beware of pic pockets. You might get separated from those bottles on the way home...or something. We know where you get the good stuff.

You'll be glad to know the bottles safely made it back to Florida. :dblthumb2:
