When I purchased my first DA, I looked at the PC/GG/Meg's, the Cyclo and the Flex 3401. One feature I really liked about the Cyclo was the lack of vibration. What I liked about the others is they use a 5"-6" pad size which seems to be very popular.

The final deciding factor for me was the Cyclo is Made in USA (Longmont Colorado, to be more specific) vs the Flex which is made in Germany or the PC/GG/Megs which is made in China.

How much does Made in USA factor in your purchasing decisions? Do you prefer to buy native over buying global? Does it really matter?

Buying made iin usa is really big for me. For an item to be made in usa, it has to have 100 percent of the parts to be usa made. When you buy made in us. It supports the us tax dollars and work ethic. I am starting to order online as it is hard to find stuff in stores that are made in usa. However, check the label. It might not seem as simple as you think. You need to find an ameircan flag on it. I try to support america AS Much as I can. It is hard with name brand electronics and expensive items as many americans hate expensive stuff

I don't care where it is made. If it is a good product for a good price, I'm happy to buy it. Being made in USA or not does not affect me at all.

My Camaro is made in Canada

I like to go with what works the best for what I am doing. If we are comparing exact same build but one was made in the u.s. and the other in a foreign country then I would choose the u.s. product. However my gf bought a new car and wanted one made overseas. She said that the build quality would be better there opposed to the states with all the union issues. Please keep in mind that is her opinion!

My Camaro is made in Canada

My Volkswagen (German) was made in Mexico. At least Canada is close to the U.S.

I prefer to buy American made products, or simply avoid Chinese made products. The OP was incorrect in stating the PC was made in China, it is made in Mexico.

I prefer to buy US made items whenever possible, and avoid everything coming from China - (unfortunately very difficult these days).

I plan on buying a Flex 3401 someday soon just to have one.

IMHO...Hard to fight the: "Global/One World Economy"...
It's just one step closer to Armageddon...the final battle.
(Both scenarios: Waaayyy out of my control.)

{I now shall return to the OP's thread-subject.}

-As such; and per: Gossip I've overheard during my life-time:

I...was made in the USA/America!! (That is...if Kentucky still counts)

Accordingly:
-I believe that being born, bred & fed in the USA also grants me certain rights
(Hope I/We don't lose 'em all pretty soon)...

-One such right is the: Right to Privacy

Ergo:
I beseech you to not have me disclose any details regarding
my purchases/ownership of "products".

Thanks.

Now that your ride is all detailed and looking good check a real important component called your oil filter. So far the USA made ones are Purolator, John Deere and Baldwin.

With the globalization of manufacturing, it's very hard to tell where the products are made anymore. Most of the "American Cars" are made in Mexico with parts manufactured in Mexico and China.

Many cars such as Honda, Toyota, and Hyundai and made here in the USA but many of the parts are made overseas...

Tools are pot luck from what I can tell and most are imported from China.....like 98% of everything else we buy.

Made in USA? I remember when it stood for quality and reliability but today it's a mere memory

America with it's insatiable desire and corporate greed is responsible for this mess and it was all bless buy the elected officials you and I put in office. These elected officials are there to support and protect us and this country's future for generations to come....

This about sums it up....

Government Regulated Health Care

If I'm understanding this correctly, we’re going to be gifted with a healthcare plan we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don’t, which purportedly covers at least 10 million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a president who smokes, with funding, administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we will be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted social security and medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that’s dead broke.

I don't think they've done a very good job in my opinion...:nomore:
