Hi all, I survived hurricane sandy, but I now have a dirty car. Should I just use a shop vac and remove eveything, or should I use a strong hose and blast everything away before washing ?

If your vehicle has IBIZ as its LSP...
Just use the Shop-Vac.

hose it down while it's still wet out to get the chunky stuff and leaves off, then when the clouds part this weekend, give it a nice wash with some shampoo or maybe a rinseless if you think it's adequate.

I have a couple of layers of lsp such as ibiz and ibiz waterless and then meguiars gold class, etc
Im thinking about hosing it down then washing it all off, it looks like someone dumped milk on it and let it dry

just hose it down the best you can, foam it up, and proceed w/ normal routine

Some old fashioned common sense comes into play so hose it, wash it, and vacuum the interior....No different than of it hadn't been washed for 3 to 4 weeks....

Do I hear a Super Storm Sandy Sale coming? Anyone?...My car is filthy now too, interior and exterior. I need bug and tar remover, more tire/trim dressing, and waterless wash at the very least.
