Im a member on many forums but this is my first post here on autogeek.
I have lingered for years and finally made the plunge a couple weeks ago and picked up a 7424. I went with pinnical for my first few products and ccs 5.5"&4" pads yellow-red. Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish, Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover, Pinnacle Liquid Souverän™ Wax, Pinnacle Crystal Mist Carnauba Detail Spray.
The first shot I had with using all of this new stuff was with a 2004 yukon i picked up for my wife. the paint was in pretty ruff shape... and even though it looks a 100 times better now it still has a long way to go...
This will definetly be a new hobby/passion for me as i have always been obsessed with haivng a clean car, only now i can actually obtain amazing looking and quality paint upkeep the right way...
I have a lot to learn and even through this first crash course with the yukon i think i have already picked up a few things...
For starters the products i picked up are awesome and definetly helped termendusly i think a larger veriaty will help out with achieving a much better finish and much deeper look...
I think i might move to menzerna products as well as picking up some ccw flat pads.
Reasoning behind a full menzerna line up is i love the tables that are out for them and i think it will give me a much slower steping table to work my way up through. especially when i get into filling rock chips, scratches, with remving wet sanding marks.
I will be doing a ton more reading before i ultimatly make up my mind on what direction to go with product wise, and i do understand that patients and time (experiance) will produce better results than just products alone will...
Any comments and or advice im always open ears and egar to learn.
I have picked up the digital art of detailing book and have made it almost all the way through the book over night. lots of good stuff in there and will fall back on this a lot.

Sorry i totaly forgot to take before photos and i definetly needed to take some... the truck was covered in waterspots and bad swirling... both from wear and tear and once uppon a time it looked as if someone took a high speed buffer to it...
