Hi All,
I have been working at doing a proper detail for over 42 years and to this day, I still am not totally satisfied with my work. I do fine with newer cars, and good paint, regardless of the damage. It is the car and cars that have over 19 to 20 years on neglected paint that I encounter difficulties.
I have come to learn that I am an average body man, only really painted with pre val and spray bombs, and that if there is a dent, I best leave it to the pros.
I have a good assortment of LC Pads, a PC polisher, and more waxes, sealants etc that I care to mention. I have lurked here for years and I suppose one could say this is my coming out of the closet post.
Regards

Bobby G I said 42 years, which that many years ago made me 16, I will admit to waxing an Austin Healy at 9 years of age for a popsicle and a ride ^

Hi davismj711...(I figured you were a 'senior-associate')...
-But for a minute there, I thought you cut your "detailing-teeth"
during your Family's trek across the open plains.

Hmmm, the Conestoga, what a tough one to get that wood to shine though.
