This vehicle belongs to a client of mine in Sewell, NJ. He takes good care of me and seems to always have more work for me! Needless to say, working for him is a pleasure with a double-bay climate controlled garage with a lift. This is his 2008 Z06. It was in fairly good condition, very few blemishes, just wanted to get it shining right! All of his cars ACTUALLY get driven, so there are some bugs and road grime present, along with some kick-up behind the tires. The wheels had a good amount of grime and brake dust on them, but nothing crazy. The clay stayed pretty clean, only some light contamination on the front bumper and side skirts. Despite a fairly hard clear...205 did a damn fine job cleaning it up.

From the owner:
"FYI
It is a limited production "Wil Cooksey" vette.
Wil Cooksey was the plant manager at Bowling Green Kentucky where all the
corvettes are born. When asked what car he would most like to see built
again he said the 427.

Chevrolet decided to honor his retirement by building a "Cooksey Special"
The engine is 505 bhp and 427 ci so they made 505 units (all identical) and
sold 427 of them in North America, the other 78 went to Europe, Asia and the
Middle East. (nice tie in of the numbers)

Each one is signed in the center console by Wil Cooksey - I have # 314.

I think it has about 2,100 miles on it.

At the time I bought it - it was the most expensive Corvette they had ever
produced (ZR1 started in 2009 and took that title). I was unaware of the
most expensive status, I happened to see it while going to the shore on a
Friday and fell in love with it. By the following Tuesday I owned it."

Thanks for sharing your write-up, photos, and product list...
Very nice looking results on a gorgeous Corvette! :props:

-All of his cars ACTUALLY get driven,...

...2008 ZO6...

-From the owner:
"FYI"
I think it has about 2,100 miles on it.

-Meguiar's M105(in a few problem areas)

Something else to find those few problem areas on such a low-milage vehicle...
Perhaps one of the Dealer's installed-options, Car Show-Detail Spraying,
or washing/drying technique...:dunno:

Great work. That color really pops now.

The Black Tahoe in the background is crying for some attention.

What a sweet vette, that thing looked like it was a pleasure to detail.

Question, how do you apply Lava? It seems like a popular method is spreading with your fingers

Only 2,100 miles? He needs to go out and drive that car more. I don't understand people who own great cars and don't drive them a lot. I drive mine as much as possible.

Thanks guys!

The owner has quite a collection of other cars, so the miles are spread out on all of them. He has a 2002 Vette, a 2009 SRT-10 Viper, a 2012 ZR1, and multiple DDs.

Great job on the vette! Let see some of these other cars, he's got quite the stable and no classics?
