Do you feel there is any value in maintaining the natural patina of classic cars?Feed back please

If you're talking about value as in money, I would say that would depend on the car's history and background.


But yes, some do value maintaining the patina in the classic car world, and I'm one of them.

"By leaps and bounds"...surge in the last few years for a few 'marque-names'.

-Some folks, then, must appreciate their patina...IMO.

I am with him, except that restored woodies sell for a lot more than unrestored. Just watch Chasing Classic Cars.That being said, is the wood thats in question or the paint?You have 2 different worlds going on here.

That is a cool car!!! I'm with the masses here, patina depends on the vehicle. I'd have to do some research on values to see if the unrestored value and fully restored value would justify a restoration. I've met a few people who have restored cars and ended up spending way more than the car would ever be worth.
