QUOTE" FROM OPIMUM FORUM 1ST REVIEW

Just finish up using opti-seal, have 2 coats and the shine is so great (every hour goes by)., Its gets better looking. Use about 1/5 of a oz for 2 coats(waited 1 1/2 hr between coats). It reminds me of a product i use about 20 yrs ago, i think it was made by automagic, brought it a car show and it was a milky color after one shake it up and apply then buff off. This opti-seal is better than that one product and easy to apply. I think you guys hit a home run with opti-seal!!!! and i will be using this for now on! thank you for a great product!!!!! http://optimumforums.org/style_emoticons/default/dribble[1].gif also the more time it been on there the more shine it gets!!!!!! http://optimumforums.org/style_emoticons/default/tongue4[1].gif P.S. i don't have a camera because mine was stolen a few weeks back, sorry about that, but i know the pics will be coming in from everybody else. Thanks guys!!!!!!!! http://optimumforums.org/style_emoticons/default/beerchug[1].gif http://optimumforums.org/style_emoticons/default/groupwave[1].gif http://optimumforums.org/style_emoticons/default/beerchug[1].gif

Just put on the first coat on a Chile Red Mini Cooper and it does look good. I'm going to wait about 1 1/2 put on another coat it insure full coverage. It has only been about 30 minutes but I would compare it to Wolfgang or Z5 in depth, wetness and shine and it's suppose to get better with time.

Little hard to get use to not buffing (as I look at several hundreds $$ worth of MF) but it seems to work.

Application wasn't all that bad and I couldn't get any streaking even if with heavy applications but it was 81, low humidity, and slight breeze. Used probably 15 squirts which is probably little more than I should of used. Smell like a IPA wipe down. More later with Pics. :Picture:

It has been polished out with OP and about a month old Poly-Seal. All I did today was wash and dry and put on the Opti-Seal. I'm a big fan of PS, NB, VW, TS, PS21 and etc but this does look good.

If you are a sealant user you will love this stuff, it beats all other WOWA products hands down!! Atleast in my eyes it does.:D

PS I have used all of them!!

If it seals in the Souveran look ... I think it should be called Liquid Viagra !!

Al ... that other product is quite sterile looking, I too am hoping for the gloss shown in all these pics.

I have only had a few hours but I can tell you this...

I have put 5 coats on 1 hr apart on the hood with NO STREAKING and no overload.

I have put Opti-Seal on thick enough to see liquid and it just takes a couple of minutes longer to dry with NO STREAKING.

Opti-Seal is dry before you can finish a panel but to be fair it was 81 and low humidity and slight breeze which was better than when I use CS.

I have used the Z5 and Z2 on this car since I have owned it and Opti-Seal looks better then either one - more depth and wettness.

This stuff drys twice as fast as CS but there is more of IPA smell to Opti-Seal than CS.

If you use CS and Z8 it looks ever so slightly better than just Opti-Seal on dark colors.

On a silver car I can not tell a difference between CS and Opti-Seal - just to close to call.

CS reminds me of the old Z2 before the pro and Opti-Seal reminds of Z5 but with more depth and wetness on dark colors.

The big unanswered question is duribility between the two!!!!

Will it ever replace PS.... Not yet but with each advancement it is getting closer!!!

I am so glad you offered this Dennis ... I too thought CS was a backstep in look to the original Z2 and sterile plastic look. I was surprised after truly liking how far Z5pro became.

I am thinking some Opti-seal tomorrow on the Caddy, and maybe a coat of Z8 later to see if any difference is added. If not pricing alone, dicates the advantage of OS over CS/Z8 for same look.

While durability remains to be seen, my thoughts are that they are now so darn easy either one could be used when wanted in 10 minutes max. (I did the Suburban with CS in that time)
