I am sure you have but that product will do little to nothing in solving his issue as it's designed to remove relatively fresh bombs. I would be willing to bet there is some clear coat damage present at the least.

Yeah I know.. :) .. It does state this in it article

Bird droppings are acidic and if left on the paint too long, they can etch the surface, permanently damaging it. Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to either sand the paint down, a very risky procedure that should only be done by a professional, or have the panel repainted. While your wax or sealant protects against this damage immediately happening, any acidic substance like bird droppings or bug guts will quickly make its way through your wax or sealant and eventually through your clear coat.

I had a car that actually had sap on it to long and etched in the paint a needed to be wet sanded too. Just have to be careful of not going to far

Lol a little dramatic
Use a qd to remove and if it damaged the finish a polish should be able to correct the damage if not try compounding, I doubt it will persist after that.

 Yes, it works great on the fresh stuff ..... but as you already knew once the damage is done there's only polishing and compounding. I too came into this thread armed with this picture haha

That is some awesome stuff at removing fresh bird sh**t. At first I thought it would act as every other qd does and it would soften it, but it would still take a little elbow grease to remove. Not the case. I spray, count to 5, then spray a couple more times, and most times the sh**t ends up flushing right off the car. Then I just wipe lightly and done. Good stuff
