Im looking to try out some cheaper paste waxes that I will be topping over a sealant. What are some carnauba paste waxes around $20 that are great value for the money in terms of gloss and depth?

Some that I have seen on the AG site are:
-Chemical Guys XXX
-Mothers Pure Carnauba
-S100
-Poorboys Natty (Ive read a lot on the red and blue, but the white is BOGO currently. Anyone have info on it?)

Anyone have a personal favorite around this price?

I have a bottle of that! Great stuff. Im looking for paste waxes because Ive never used any wax in a paste form before and Id like to see if I would prefer it over liquid. I want to start cheap in case I dont.

-@$15.99
Meguiars #26 Hi-Tech Paste Wax is carnauba paste car wax with polymer additives for maximum longevity. Meguiars #26 High Tech Paste Car Wax is great (http://www.autogeek.net/meg26hitpasw.html)

-@$17.99
3M Perfect It Show Car Paste Wax, 3m 39526, creates an ultra high gloss finish, with long-lasting protection! (http://www.autogeek.net/3mpershowcar.html)

IMHO:
Just cheaper price-points...That's all.
Very good products, having great value for the money...
and, also, in terms of gloss and depth?---They exhibit those attributes!!

I agree. In that case which waxes would be most durable for this price point? (knowing that carnaubas are not that durable in general)

Everyone claims the Collinite 845 is the best for durability and for $15 , can't go wrong.
I got the Nattys last time it was on bogo and I finally used it last week on my Camry. Couldn't really tell a difference because I applied it over BFWD sealant.

Meguiars #26 is a great value. I hear Mothers Carnauba wax is a good value also.

I have P21s and S100 and I think they look the same. It's a nice wax. It was the first one I ever purchased and I still think its good after all these years

-After you have prepped the sealant :D...

-I strongly feel that M26, being a 'hybrid-wax', will, no doubt in my mind/experience, give your vehicle the:
Time period of "Durability"...that you already know is relatively short-lived...
at least in comparison with most sealants.

Mothers Pure Carnauba. I bought on sale here. Easy too take off.

On another note, does topping a sealant with a wax protect the sealant? Then when the wax degrades over time, the sealant will then begin protecting the paint as well?

For example: sealant durability + wax durability = overall durability

How about a Dodo Juice panel pot? You'll get about 4 coats and a great wax.
