Considering ordering a few LC MF pads for my GG6, I am wondering for those that have used them, what product have you used? how did it work? for a while I have been a LC CCS/flat pad and SSR(1, 2.5) user.

Just looking for a little feedback as far as what everyone has used on their LC MF pads for swirl removal as well as polishing? and how well or not well it worked.

I've used different brands of MF pads, and only used D300/301 and M105/205, but my recommendation would be to stick with SMAT polishes, like those I mentioned or the Optimums polishes.

Of course, plenty of people seem to use DAT polishes on the MF pads without any trouble, so you could also simply use your SSR's as you have been. Make sure to fluff up the fibers when they get matted down, and air compressor (even a cheap one) is best for this.

That's true I didn't think about DAT vs SMAT. Anyone else have other experience?

I have only used SMAT products on mine...

I just got doing an audi s5 with the LC mf pads and menz fg400. The cut was pretty good. The only problem is with the mf pads is that you have to be careful of the product not caking up. This is usually do to heat and product build up.

Using mf you have to clean the mf pad often, you can do this by air or nylon pad brush.. Used it today with a flex 3401/LC MF with WGTSR work beautifully .

Yes but you have to consider the product your using to. The consistency of either the compound or polish has a role on how long your mf pad will last. Compressed air/ nylon brush only does so much.
